An English instructor (SAT/Grammar/Writing/Reading Comprehension) is responsible for ensuring that students learn proper grammar, writing, and reading comprehension. Responsible for creating lesson plans that will teach students the skills they need. A few of the main duties of an English instructor are answering student questions, grading student tests and essays, tracking student progress, and teaching students the importance of English. English instructor also has to communicate with the parents of students. One of the most important skills that an English instructor will have is the ability to give constructive criticism. Another skill is communication as the English instructor will need to be able to communicate effectively with students.
Responsibilities for English Instructor:
-Graduated with a minimum bachelor’s degree;
-BSc/BA in English Language or English Literature; MSC is a plus;
-Bilingual (English and Mandarin) teaching ability;
-Create lesson plans for students;
-Grade student essays and tests;
-Ensure that the classroom stays orderly;
-Write progress reports for students;
-Assign essays and homework to students;
-Assign books for students to read;
-Organize classroom lectures and coursework;
-Identify students with special requirements and create individualized plans;
-Provide feedback based on workload and classroom behavior;
-Collaborate with teaching staff and administrators to foster a good student experience;
-Develop personalized learning and tutoring programs according to the situation of students, and conduct corresponding teaching services and teaching tracking;
-Participate in training, teaching, and research work to improve teaching quality;
-Assist the superior to complete various teaching tasks;
-Participate in department promotion and related tasks;
-Complete teaching and video recording of online courses;
-Work on holidays in some extenuating circumstances (i.e. if work is needed for V.I.P. students).

-Great speaking and writing skills;
-Ability to create lesson plans;
-Great grammar knowledge;
-Knowledge about great works of literature;
-Exceptional organizational and communication skills;
-A patient and resilient personality;
-Dedication to students and education.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
