Description:
Reporting directly to the Manager, Inside Sales, the Customer Account Manager – Level 2 is responsible for driving multi-modality imaging service contract renewals, warranty conversions and product sales in a defined region. The Customer Account Manager – Level 2 will be responsible for hitting individual and team sales targets in addition to achieving operational excellence goals that directly contribute to Alpha Source Group growth strategies. This position is sales incentive eligible in addition to base pay.
Creates new leads and opportunities for product sales and imaging services, including new multi-year contracts, contract renewals and hourly services. Imaging services includes maintenance and repair of ultrasound, nuclear medicine, bone mineral densitometry, MRI, CT and PET equipment.
Gaining understanding of the strategic goals, future business needs, expectations and interests of key assigned accounts and obtaining product-specific knowledge where needed.
Serves as point of contact for all customer-initiated inquiries regarding ASG offerings within their defined region.
Grow existing customer relationships with consistent touchpoints and the ability to align ASG products and services that meet customer budget and coverage needs.
Actively participates in projects and/or efforts that are focused on driving stronger operational rigor through continuous process improvement, try-storming techniques, and cross-functional collaboration.
Works proactively with Field Service Leadership, other members of the Commercial Sales Teams and other key stakeholders to ensure health and sustainability of new business and service agreements.
Develops and maintains in-depth product knowledge, promotes product sales and establishes key customer part programs.
Follows up promptly on all lead generation programs, e.g., internet, Sales Executive account leads and other marketing campaigns.
Tracks and documents all customer contact, outreach, tasks, quotes and critical details within the CRM.
Gathers pertinent market and customer intelligence to assist in developing business strategies to maximize domestic market penetration and provide management with market feedback, competitive activity/pricing, new competitive products, market trends, etc.
Utilizes collaboration tools to actively track deal progress and market observations as required for each customer, contact, opportunity or lead.
Responsible for customer sales within defined region that represents significant business impact from 3% to10%+ of the company’s total annual sales.
Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements:
Associates degree or equivalent work experience is required
Minimum of 3 years inside sales, telemarketing or similar experience is required
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing or a related field is preferred
Experience selling service as a core product is a plus
Experience in medical or healthcare services sales is preferred.
Previous CRM experience is highly desirable
