Job Summary and Opportunity:

Lead enterprise transformation projects working with stakeholders from multiple bank and/or securities business units. Projects can include identifying and driving the implementation of operating model improvements, software selection and operational integration, value stream optimization, and leading cross functional cost benefit analyses. Within this context, activity includes:
Responsibilities:

Serving as a communication channel & change agent for assigned engagements, ensuring the adoption of recommendations and realization of anticipated benefits
Identify operational improvement opportunities, quantify projected impact, launch projects, and consult projects to completion and post-completion assessment
Identify and quantify baseline performance, projected benefits and actual results using data and metrics
Act as coach to internal customers throughout the engagement lifecycle
Liaise with the Project Management group and business units to ensure oversight of relevant project progress and implementation
Accurately report on completed projects, including measurement of improvements
Ad hoc projects, consultations and activities identified, as assigned
Requirements:

BA or BS in Business, Finance or a technical field
5-7 years of Big 4 or equivalent project experience in consulting, financial services, securities, fintech or technology industries
Project based work demonstrating exceptional project management, analytical and communication experiences
Ability to generate new and innovative ideas that resulted in substantial shifts in thinking and behavior
Lean/six sigma experience and/or certification desired
Identify and assess risk of an identified process and provide solutions/controls that help mitigate the risk while still improving the process
Understand the importance of controls (including SOX) and be able to train others on why a control exists or needs to exist
Understand the systems/tech involved in a given process and ensure the completeness and accuracy of the data via review of interfaces, reporting, and configurations
Familiarity with specific financial services regulatory guidelines and the ever changing regulatory environment
Team player willing to lead strategic multi-year projects as well as roll up their sleeves to perform detailed analysis
Strong ability to communicate clearly and positively to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization
High degree of emotional intelligence to effectively manage cross functional project teams
Individual with a genuine investment in work, and the dedication required to be successful
Organizational skills; the ability to manage multiple initiatives, constantly
Exceptional work ethic; proactively and energetically pursues success
Mental acumen with a large dose of common sense
Proven ability to “manage up” and promote accountability
Microsoft Suite; above average Microsoft Excel and Visio skills
Innovative thinker who is able to translate thoughts into actions
