About us:
At Burn Cycling our focus is to promote fitness and self-care in our community, while creating a welcoming and familiar atmosphere for our clients. We offer state of the art spinning bikes taught by experienced certified instructors. Spinners wear regular athletic shoes that slip right into the pedal cage or bring your own SPD shoes that clamp onto the pedals. We also offer shoe rentals and shoes to purchase. Towels and water are available for sale.

What you’ll be doing:

Opening/closing the studio
Cleaning the bikes before/after classes
Light studio cleaning, such as sweeping and/or vacuuming
Answering cycling questions
Setting up clients bikes
Setting up cycling shoes
Social Media marketing/interaction
Email marketing (Vagaro)
Answering emails directed to management
Cash handling (Vagaro)
Helping clients pay for classes (Vagaro)
Upselling apparel and package deals
Use of Vagaro software : Class creation/organization/scheduling, client scheduling/rescheduling, product inventory, class completions, cash and card payments, safety forms for clients including Par-Q (preferred skill)
Wix website editing as necessary (preferred skill)
Scheduling quarterly bike maintenance
Speak with vendors as necessary for occasional events
Assist owner/general manager as necessary
Assist in managing studio and front desk operations. Including being first point of contact for any studio issues. As well as management of front desk staff.

Ideal Qualifications:

2 years of gym/studio management
Passion for health/fitness/nutrition
Vagaro software experience
Wix website editing experience
Tech savvy
Critical thinking skills
2 years of gym/studio customer service
6 months of sales experience
6 months of cash/card handling experience
