Job Summary:

This individual will assign and give direction to employees in the Service Department. Individual will manage processing of repair and warranty work of all products carried and maintained by Cal-Line Equipment. They will be responsible for working with our customers in all facets of the business as well as working with our manufacturers for updates, warranties, and training. As part of the management team, they will advise and recommend changes and improvements to increase revenue and control overhead to the General Manager.

Able to run an efficient and profitable service department through productive staffing, customer retention, cost controls, achievement of objectives, and maintenance of all service records. Ensuring that the daily inventory of technicianÂ’s time is consistently sold to service customers.

Roles & Responsibilities, include but not limited to:

Oversee all services and workspace in the shop.
Delegate and direct service tasks, monitor the progress of all current and pending projects.
Forecast goals and objectives for the department and strive to meet them.
Hire, train, motivate, council and monitor the performance of all service department staff.
Give frequent progress reports to employees to improve satisfaction and efficiency.
Consistently deliver incredible customer service experiences by offering knowledge, advice, and answering questions and concerns.
Monitor and control the performance of the department.
Understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-know etc.
Understand and ensure compliance with manufacturer warranty and policy.
Manage and update invoices.
Communicate and maintain good relations with manufacturing representatives.
ALWAYS keep a safe and clean workspace!
Maintain high quality service repair and minimize comebacks, conduct periodic spot checks of completed job for thoroughness and quality.
Help train new employees in company procedures, including safety and work processes.
Stay up to date on industry standards and any new innovations, materials, tools and / or processes that can benefit the company.

Top pay $70K + Commissions & Bonus, DOE , and a full benefits package (Medical, Dental, Life, LTD, PTO, 401(k) with Match).
