Summary: The Front Office Receptionist (check-in) schedules appointments, performs check-in duties, assists with checkout duties as needed, and performs administrative duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Sets procedures to claim, collect copay
Saves treatment plans after going over them with parents
Schedules treatment appointments and recall appointments
Confirms treatment appointments
Takes calls throughout the day
Schedules patients from ASAP List
Checks patients in
Verifies info on file
Verifies eligibility with insurance
Calls patients when late
Confirms all appointments
Schedules recall appointments
Scans in NPP, and enters it in the system
Work on Gap List calls daily
Scans V-care forms
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience: Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of basic office equipment such as: computer, internet, email, copy and fax machines, and telephone.
