Position Summary:
Overall responsibility for tactical execution of all functions needed to support our Cooley Warehouse Operations. Shared primary responsibility for entry and accuracy of all transactions relating to the warehouse operations into the company Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Will have shared primary responsibility for timely and accurate physical inventory counts. Works closely with warehouse, vendors, and Cooley Leadership Team. Will be required to communicate effectively, be highly computer literate and technically proficient to be able to accomplish time-sensitive tasks, promptly and on time. Must remain calm under pressure, multi-task, and effectively problem-solve. A very high level of accuracy and commitment is required.
Responsibilities:
Enter all manner of transactions in the ERP and maintain trackers.
Primary point of contact for Independent Operators on orders, pick-up timing, and any questions on inventory availability, or changes to orders
Own and manage communication and resolutions of shortages to the IO’s.
Place transfer orders for all DSD Country Archer inbound inventory
Provide feedback for damages and exceptions
Report on inbounds and timing to the DSD General Manager, as well as coordinate inbound and outbound deliveries with Warehouse team
Work with DSD and Warehouse managers to make sure any issues/concerns are addressed, and the DSD operation is running smoothly
Assist with the cycle count program for Cooley Operation, to include physical counts, inputting inventory numbers and reconciliation
Oversee the DSD Operations and for DSD-related inventory transactions within the warehouse. Ensure updates are entered into the ERP and/or tracker for the following
Transfers between Country Archer’s Warehouse and the DSD Warehouse
Transfers between DSD IO warehouse and IO Inventory locations
Efficiently and accurately maintain all documentation relating to the DSD Operation, including BOL’s, receipts, and additional receiving or shipping paperwork etc.
Must keep ERP and/or tracker updated as it relates to all transactions occurring physically. inbound and outbound DSD materials, as well as inventory and order processing.
Perform ad-hoc duties and cross-train to support Country Archer’s warehouse operation by assuming back-up responsibility as needed for cycle counts and inventory discrepancy resolution, as well as ERP data entry
Education:
High School Diploma or GED and at least 3 years of related experience.
Required Experience:
Must be familiar with Microsoft Office.
Must have experience with ERP systems similar to NetSuite
Ability to fluently speak and understand English.
Minimum Requirements:
Ability to analyze data and apply learnings.
Minimum intermediate level skill in using Excel and automated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, write reports and general business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and the public.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
The employee may frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds with assistance or equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
