CSU Fullerton Auxiliary Services

Provide research assistance involving data management for a grant-funded project focusing on STEM outreach with college students, especially at minority-serving institutions.

Please be aware that funding for this position is awarded through a Grant/Contract over a specified period. Employment for this position beyond current Grant/Contract funding is contingent upon continued funding.

Essential Duties

Duties focus primarily on data management involving human subjects data, typically downloaded from Qualtrics, including:

Checking, cleaning, recoding, and scoring data
Writing SPSS syntax involved in cleaning and scoring datasets
Documenting datasets in the form of codebooks
Organizing data files
Running descriptive statistical analyses to document variable properties
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of professional experience in data management and analysis using SPSS

EDUCATION:
Completed a minimum of 60 College/University units

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Prolonged sitting in front of computer. Walking, talking, hearing, pulling, bending, may carry 10-15 pounds of objects/material, not exposed to extreme noise level, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands or arms, stoop, kneel, taste or smell.
