Overview:

Element has an opportunity for a
Nondestructive Etch Trainee to join our growing team. To conduct daily Etch Logs in accordance with company approved procedures while paying close attention to safety and project timelines.
Responsibilities:

Conduct daily Etch logs in accordance with written company procedures
Prepare test specimens, sets up and adjusts test equipment
Conduct Chemical additions
Process parts per Element procedures and/or specifications
Willing to learn new processes and procedures
Maintain related test equipment and tools in good working condition
Skills / Qualifications:

Minimum of 1-3 years of experience and/or training in Non-Destructive Testing
Familiar with testing codes and standards
Experience in interpreting testing procedures and requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Availability, flexibility, and maturity to represent the company at a broad range of events/projects in the community
Ability to remain calm when faced with mounting pressure related to deadlines and multiple priorities
Well developed oral and written communication skills to meet a variety of communication needs

This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3), or U.S. Government export authorization is required. Any offer of employment is contingent upon the employer obtaining the necessary export authorization, including, if required, an export license from the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Industry and Security, the U.S. Department of State’s Office of Defense Trade Controls, or other applicable government agency.
