Role Summary
Our Client Reporting Team is responsible for data input, account reconciliation, system maintenance, and production of quarterly and adhoc reports in Tamarac’s Advisor Suite. We are seeking a dynamic leader who possesses exemplary analytical and technical skills with a passion for client reporting. The qualified applicant will act as a player/coach, partnering with both internal and external teams to oversee all client reporting related activities. This entails data reconciliation, quality control, auditing functions, and working with firm leadership to implement key enhancements that drive client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be emphatically passionate about data, with demonstrated technical expertise working in portfolio accounting, performance management, and trading systems. Job Description
Lead and oversee firm’s daily, quarterly and adhoc reporting needs including account setup, data maintenance, audit responsibilities, and data integrity in Tamarac Advisor Reporting
Take ownership in resolving complex reporting issues and provide alternative recommendations for atypical business scenarios leveraging outside support and business vendors to resolve more complex inquires as applicable
Prioritize daily team workflow, ensure high-level of quality control, and seek out opportunities to drive process improvements across the Tamarac reporting platform
Partner with internal teams to identify and translate business reporting needs, assess priority, create working project plans, and own implementation of enhancements
Collaborate with M&A integration team, support staff, and key vendors in firm data transfer projects, account coding, and technical troubleshooting of database migrations
Supervise, mentor, hire, train, and development associates to include regular coaching sessions, training recommendations, and writing and delivery of performance evaluations
Setup, configure and maintain business application permissions and key vendor integrations
Facilitate product education, training for new and existing associates, and acquired firms
Develop and maintain written business training guides, policies, and procedures
Build and maintain trusted relationships with peers, client-facing and operations staff, and external business application partners
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably with a concentration in Business, Finance, Technology, or related field
Ideal candidates will have 5+ years’ experience in operations and/or reporting leadership role within the investment advisory, asset management or financial services industry (2 – 4 years of work experience in a quantitative or analytical role)
Exemplary communication skills with ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, associates, leadership, and executive management
Strong initiative, teamwork and attention to detail are essential with the ability to prioritize and shift priorities instantaneously
Exhibits strong technical and project management skills, with demonstrated ability to lead process change within a complex business environment
Experience working with Salesforce, Tamarac and other RIA related business applications (or complimentary business applications (i.e., Orion, Addepar, PortfolioCenter) highly desirable
Displays exemplary analysis and problem-solving capabilities with ability to strategize “outside the box” scenarios to identify and resolve atypical business issues
Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
