WHAT WE NEED: A multi-tasking
Bilingual (English/Spanish) Medical Receptionist (internally known as Medical Office Assistant) in
Sacramento!
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Quality health care doesn’t just happen. It requires the help of a person who can follow the directions of a doctor while also making the patient feel comfortable. The ability to give the same level of attention and detail to each and every patient, maintain a smooth flow of examinations, and cover the front desk to ensure all questions and inquiries are handled accordingly.
WHAT IT TAKES: You will be responsible for opening the clinic, checking in patients, confirming patient appointments, scanning and uploading documents and assisting doctors as needed.
The schedule will be from 7:30am-4:00pm M-F with some weekends.

Responsibilities:
Maintains a smooth flow of examinations to ensure appointments are kept on schedule.
Call to confirm scheduled appointments.
Answer phones and covering front desk.
Scan and upload documents and/or medical records as needed.
Responsible for set-up, maintenance, and cleanliness of exam rooms.
Secures patient information and maintains patient confidentiality by completing and safeguarding medical records.
Ensures all practices are carried out in accordance with state and federal safety and legal regulations.
Performs clerical duties such as typing, filing, emailing, and proofreading as required.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
A minimum of 1-2 years on the job experience in a medical office or related field preferred.
Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
Must have adequate knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, medications and laboratory values.
Must be knowledgeable of multiple software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and the Internet.
Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
