SUMMARY/JOB PURPOSE:

Integrations are increasingly becoming a key enabler for Exelixis’ growth. We are looking for an energetic leader who is excited to help us build our integrations strategy and manage implementations from beginning to end. The preferred candidate is a technologist that will serve as the technical visionary, strategist, and problem solver for how we ensure stability and scalability of our G&A, Commercial, Research, Develop and Supply Chain functions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead and manage a team of integration architects and resources to operate and deliver integrations for the enterprise
Influence senior leaders across the organization and gain buy in for key integration initiatives
Provide thought leadership on enterprise integration strategy, technology, architecture, and roadmaps
Develop and execute on an integration strategy and operating model
Develop and mentor team members to ensure coverage and succession planning
Develop a resourcing strategy to support the growth in demand for integrations
Develop a technical architecture for an integration platform that is agile and scalable to support Exelixis growth
Develop an agile organization model to support integration deliver, platform operations, and support
Execute managed services agreements with key partners to scale resources
Ensure successful delivery of projects and key initiatives
Maintain department budget and financials

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide guidance and direction to direct reports
Set priorities and delegate work to direct reports
Supervises, hires, trains, provides work direction, and problem-solving assistance for student

workers. Also oversees the daily operations of other staff.

Supervises staff, including hiring, scheduling, and assigning work, reviewing performance, and

recommends salary increases, promotions, transfers, demotions, or terminations.

Manages others through subordinate supervisors

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in related discipline + thirteen years of related experience; or
Master’s degree in related discipline and eleven years of related experience; or
PhD degree in related discipline and eight years of related experience; or
Equivalent combination of education and technical experience.

Experience:

Experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries is preferred
Experience implementing and operating an integration platform such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or SAP CPI

Experience integrating with SAP ERP
Experience with API management and EDI

Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and services

Knowledge/Skills:

General knowledge Of ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle EB and EDI standards
Thorough knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure and services and DevOps tools used for CI/CD
Comprehensive knowledge of enterprise integration technology, design patterns, architecture, API Management, and agile development methodology
