Fidelis Logistics is searching for a Production Manager to lead a production team in repairing CHEP Pallets under the direction of the Plant Manager. Pay range is $75K to $85K depending on experience.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Work with management team to develop an action plan to ensure that budget, goals and targets are achieved in a timely manner.
Administer the production schedule for the plant’s procedures to ensure accurate inventory levels and cost-effective labor meet On Time Performance (OTP) goals and better utilization of existing facilities.
Develop and implement programs to reduce waste and improve productivity.
Coordinate the production activities of the department with the rest of the facility and maintain schedules to achieve a high level of productivity
Identify areas for quality improvement and initiate problem-solving activities to improve quality performance.
Identify training needs, help develop training programs and assist in training of employees to include cross training. Provide consistent feedback.
Establish an environment conducive to employee participation and facilitate the development of teams. Conduct periodic audits of work teams to determine their needs and effectiveness.
Maintain departments so that they are in a state of readiness for customer visits and audits.
Ensure standards of productivity, safety and accuracy are met.
Review production and operating reports and direct the resolution of operational, pallet repair and sortation and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
Determine responsibilities of assigned organization and staff positions to accomplish business objectives and maintain vendor relationships, as well as strong working relationship with our customer.
Maintain all equipment and automation as required for optimal operating efficiency.
Requirements and Qualifications:
5 Years of experience in a warehousing or production environment in a leadership role.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a related area.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Strong organizational skills and effective time management with the ability to prioritize.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Bilingual; English/Spanish strongly preferred
