The Location: This position is located in Carlsbad, California at our corporate headquarters reporting fully on-site due to the nature of the job.

Job Overview:
Assists, advises, and recruits candidates for admission.
Responsibilities:
Provides superior customer service when responding to inquiries with prospective students on the phone, in writing, by email, text message and/or in person. Able to handle moderately complex inquiries.
Explains specific details related to education programs such as tuition, program length, curriculum and other pertinent education and compliance facts as provided by the school.
Understands and adheres to all accreditation and regulatory standards
Reviews student application submissions and verifies admission or denial.
Creates, verifies and maintains documents related to student enrollments; evaluates documents to ensure accuracy
Ensures daily update to database with student information received by telephone, facsimile, and electronic or regular mail.
Provides Educational campus tours to prospective students.
Troubleshoots moderately complex database/systems issues (i.e. missing data, system errors, etc.) Works with other departments, as necessary, to resolve system / set-up issues
May assist with international admissions advising
Assigned as primary point of contact for specific clients. Builds and maintains client relationships to ensure client satisfaction.
May assist with other activities and services that support student success including, but not limited to, student records, tuition payments or scholarships, inventory handling, etc.
Follows company policy in maintaining confidentiality of student and prospective student information.
Performs other duties as assigned
Technical Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):
Knowledge: Learning to apply functional knowledge in area of focus.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Familiar with CRM tools, Student Information Systems, Learning Management Systems
Language skills: ability to read, comprehend and follow standard procedures or instruction in local language (proficiency in reading, writing and speaking in English or language courses are offered in)
Communication skills: ability to communicate complex info in a simplified and clear manner. Understands and uses communication / email etiquette. Ability to project a professional image in person, over the phone and in writing. Possesses quality voice skills, speaks well, and can be clearly understood via telephone and in person.
Interpersonal skills: ability to create positive interactions with colleagues, team and management; actively communicates with others in a timely & professional manner; maintains a collaborative working relationship with others to improve performance.
Teamwork: Interface well with others, knows who to go to and how to communicate issues/needs

Requirements:
High School Diploma and 3-4+ year of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
