Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design or equivalent practical experience.
1 year of experience with designing and shipping consumer products.
Experience in design (e.g., proportions, color form, typography, presentation) and storytelling.
A portfolio demonstrating your work.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience with one or more of the following: animation, color/material/finish design, model making and/or prototyping; 2D experience via sketching, Illustrator, Photoshop.
Excellent in visualizing concepts using industry standard 2D and 3D tools such as Photoshop/Illustrator, Rhino, Solidworks, Creo, Alias and Keyshot.
Understanding of mechanical design, manufacturing and engineering requirements and constraints.
Excellent communication/visualization and storytelling skills and techniques.

Responsibilities

Deliver design at a high-quality that delights consumers.
Communicate and present through sketches, prototypes or models, and 2D/3D renderings, with attention to detail.
Express ideas and concepts through visual/verbal communication skills by contributing to ideation as well as proper implementation of ideas.
Build process troubleshooting and CMF approvals that require travel as needed to vendors (e.g., manufacturing facilities overseas, user research, etc.).
Support multiple projects at very different levels of involvement.
