Overview: GrowGeneration is one of the largest retailers of hydroponic products in the United States and is engaged in the business of marketing and distributing horticultural, organics, lighting, and hydroponics products, including lighting fixtures, nutrients, seeds and growing media, systems, trays, fans, filters, humidifiers and dehumidifiers, timers, instruments, water pumps, irrigation supplies, and hand tools.

Position Reports to: Store Manager

Starting Hourly Wage: $17-$18/DOE

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Operate cash registers, manage financial transactions, and balance drawers
Process purchases, returns, and exchanges according to company procedures
Demonstrate superior product knowledge and develop solutions for customers by listening to their needs and recommending appropriate products
Greet customers, respond warmly to questions, improve engagement with merchandise, and provide outstanding customer service
Upsell when appropriate; promote current sales, promotions, etc.
Organize and replenish front stock and help merchandise store
Help organize backstock and perform inventory counts
Cooperate with other team members to keep the sales floor clean and organized
Contribute to a friendly and welcoming environment for customers to shop
Help with tasks in other departments as needed to keep the store running efficiently

Experience Requirements:

2+ years of Retail Sales or Customer Service experience
Broad knowledge of indoor cultivation practices
Understanding of various inputs and environmental controls required for indoor cannabis cultivation

Physical Requirements:

Friendly and professional communication with customers
Proficient using a computer and POS system with accuracy
Able to stand for the duration of a shift
Capable of lifting 40 lbs. to waist height repeatedly
Comfortable working in hot or cold environments for extended periods of time

Compensation: Includes an hourly wage based on experience, eligible for additional compensation by way of Annual Store Bonus Program based on store revenue, employer match in a company sponsored 401(k) plan, paid parental leave, employee discounts, sick leave accrual, and more.
