Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Member Check in/Customer Service
Greet all incoming members
Complete daily check-off sheet of miscellaneous duties
Facility tour and scheduling assessment for walk ins/website inquiries
Handle member service issues to include (but not limited to): Lost and Found items, change of address, EFT change
Answer supplement questions; up-sell Pro Shop products
Point Of Sale- ring up customers for Pro Shop items
Keep front desk area and lobby clean, clutter free, and orderly/organized
Keep all areas of the gym neat and organized
Record equipment, facility, and janitorial issues in the Maintenance Logs
Inventory Pro Shop products, front desk supplies, and cleaning supplies; report to Manager when supplies are low or if there are significant discrepancies
Update Social Media pages with fresh, new posts on a daily basis
Facilitate product/supplement sampling
Manage and efficiently complete projects assigned by Owners/Managers
Qualifications :
Must have a passion for fitness
Must be friendly and outgoing- personality plays a big role in this position
Must be a self-starter and take the initiative
Must be organized and task-oriented
Must have minimum 1 year experience in customer service function
Experience in multi-tasking
Basic computer skills
Certifications / Educational Requirements :
High School Diploma or GED required
Physical Requirements :
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for up to 6 hours and must be able to effectively communicate. The employee occasionally sits, walks, kneels, and reaches with hands and arms
Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
Job Type: 1 – 7 p.m. M-F; 1 weekend day every other week

Pay: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour
