Lakeside Nursery is a wholesale grower of ornamental plants for the landscape industry.
Horticultural experience is a PLUS, but is not required to apply for this position. We will train the right candidate. We are looking for individuals that are passionate about customer service and are looking to grow with our company.
Starting pay is commensurate with experience and/or educational qualifications.
The Nursery Sales Specialist/Office Assistant position includes the following responsibilities:
Sales and order processing in-office
Email, phone, and in-person communication with clients to drive profitable sales
Assisting nursery manager with client requests
Inventory management activities and data entry
Filing and managing client and vendor invoices
Performing cash drops/cash handling, light bookkeeping
Performing other duties as required
Proven record of customer service experience and must LOVE working with people
Must be a team player
Reliable transportation and driver’s license
Must be confident with computers and Microsoft programs, including: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Confident math skills – must be able to do the following: calculate sales tax, perform cash drops, and retail math
HS degree required
College degree or some educational credits preferred
