The Door Greeter is responsible for screening all patients and visitors entering the facility. This position requires sitting at entrances and asking a set of questions to all people entering the facility, and then directing them appropriately.
What You’ll Do:
Direct patients, visitors and contractors to the proper entrances.
Explain and uphold hospital COVID policies regarding entry to the facility and visitor restrictions.
Screen visitors for COVID symptoms and exposure upon entry to the hospital.
Register and assist visitors upon arrival to the hospital.
Support with administrative and facility tasks as needed.
Who You Are:
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to verbally de-escalate situations
Ability to adapt to ever changing circumstances
Practice proper telephone etiquette
Knowledgeable of current COVID and hospital guidelines
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Customer service skills required
Excellent interpersonal skills, outgoing and personable
Spanish bilingual a plus
Background in healthcare preferred
Communication skills with handheld radios
COVID Vaccination requirement.
Starting hourly wage $18.97
This is a temporary position, beginning immediately.
Varied shifts, important to have flexible scheduling ability.
