How can you make an Impact?
As a
Technical Product Manager, you will work on our award-winning learning platform, ALEKS (www.aleks.com). Your mission will be to work with development teams and business unit partners to discover, prioritize, and deliver viable solutions that will delight our customers and improve learning outcomes.
What You’ll Do
Work with business unit partners, Implementation, Customer Support, and, of course, customers, to uncover and understand customers problems and needs
Work with UX and Engineering to find and design solutions
Work with User Research to test hypotheses and validate/invalidate proposed solutions
Work with Engineering and QA to plan, build, and test your product
Work with Product Marketing to position and communicate on your product
Work with Technical Writing and Training to create release documentation for new products and train internal teams on them
Be a mentor and leader for your team
Set the product vision and priorities for your team and own the delivery
Manage up and manage across teams

Prior success in defining and launching products and features
Passion for product, tech, business, and user experience
Leadership skills ability to influence and inspire your team
Technical prowess you don’t need to code, but you should be afraid of diving into technical issues and then be able to explain technical concepts in non-technical terms to business partners and customers
Attention to detail, ability to analyze complex systems, and expertise at managing multiple projects concurrently
Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse personalities and skill sets
Ability to build a product vision and communicate that vision to your team, peers, and stakeholders
Experience articulating objectives and measuring your success
Self-motivation and critical feedback skills (giving/receiving) that help people work better together and level up solutions
