Responsibilities:
The Sales Operations Specialist role is responsible for working directly with NWN Carousel Customers, Sales teams and other Internal resources while assisting with sales orders, all to the end goal of providing the highest level of service to NWN Carousel Customers. This is a key role in supporting business results goals and customer satisfaction goals.
Essential, key job responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
Receive email and telephone requests for price quotations, purchase orders, order changes, adjustments and cancellations directly from customers, sales reps or various internal departments.
Work directly with Sales Representatives, Sales Leaders and other sales resources to help with Opportunity management in SalesForce to keep all relevant data and information updated for forecasting requirements that roll up to executive management on a weekly basis.
Support of a “primary territory”, a national or named account assignments or other assigned sales team relationships but may also be asked to support another area anywhere in the US.
Review weekly the SalesForce reports and other files of active orders to ensure supported territory deals are updated.
Actively work with Sales Representative – Business Operations, to ensure all of the required documents are compiled so that the order process may be initiated.
Responsible for working in OEM/Vendor/Disti tools/systems to complete the registrations for quotes/deals to verify costs.
Assist Sales in getting the Vendor SKU’s/pricing uploaded into SalesForce to help complete quoting.
Maintain a current understanding of an Order Process, ensuring when quotes are being built that all content is captured, and orders are submitted in a timely manner.
Additional job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Frequent interaction with sales, presales, finance and service delivery to assist in high quality customer outcomes related to sales.
Assist Sales/Pre-sales in supporting the accessing and usage of SalesForce reports.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
The following are minimum qualifications and requirements required for this role:
2 years of experience in closely related sales support or related end user sales assignments or a 2 year degree from an accredited institution.
Demonstrate a Sales biased mindset and understands how to positively impact Sales and order completion velocity.
Skills working with SalesForce system or the equivalent tool sets, with Sales/Pre-sales in forecasting/quoting function.
Knowledge of 3rd party vendor partner programs and processes.
Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint experience.
Knowledge of standard business processes such as the Opportunity to Cash (OTC) process or ability to quickly learn.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent problem solving/dispute resolution skills required.
The following qualifications are ideal, but not required:
OEM relationship experience.
NetSuite, Salesforce, TigerPaw, Blulogix experience or working knowledge
Product and recurring bookings experience is preferred or proven knowledge in other similar positions.
2 – 5 years ’ experience in the IT industry.
Knowledge of sales cycles and sales methodologies such as Force Management.
Knowledge of how to support a sales minded culture and is comfortable working directly with Sales Representatives.
Project management skills.
Time and priority management skills.
