Ooma is looking for a Technical, Hands-On Manager to lead our corporate IT. This role works across all business units within Ooma, across all time-zones. The ability to think critically, communicate effectively, and pay attention to details are essential skills in the role. As the IT Manger, you will drive innovation and continuous improvement across Ooma, and have a direct impact on the day to day productively of the company.
Serving as technical lead of key corporate IT initiatives.This includes planning, executing, and sustaining
Managing all systems and directive processes related to Information Technology. Ooma is a hybrid environment, Windows, MacOS, Linux, Mobile, Cloud.
Should have experience handling an IT team that is geographically distributed between 11 – 20 Full Time Staff.
Organizing and managing Ooma’s helpdesk related tasks, team members, Information processes, and integration with 3rd party application infrastructure (Office365, Active Directory, mail, slack, Netsuite, ADP, Box, Certify, etc.)
Managing network/computing-related facilities
Assuring compliance with various regulatory and industry requirements for data integrity and security (especially the payment card industry data security standard (PCI DSS), Sarbanes-Oxley and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA))
Ensuring cybersecurity of the corporate network
Evolve IT to be able to scale to the needs of the company
Considerable experience in managing and administering projects of varying size, complexity compensating prioritization, and multitasking.
10+ years corporate IT experience.
Extensive experience with network, cyber-security, compute infrastructure and facilities implementations, windows, Linux, Cloud, GitOps/DevOps philosophy and background
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong leadership and management skills.
BS in Computer Science, MIS, or similar field
