The IT Business Systems Manager (BSM) for Finance Technology oversees technical aspects of the Finance and Accounting Systems and provides technology support for Finance and Accounting organizations. Serves as the technology liaison between both technical and functional areas of the business including accounting groups (e.g. GL, AR, AP, etc.), Financial Planning & Analysis teams (Corporate and channels) and other internal and external clients to ensure effective definition of total systems solutions and delivery of relevant technology applications and integrations across the different domains or channel technology ecosystems.

What You Will Do:

Responsible for aspects of Finance and Accounting systems including configuration, data integrity, testing of system changes, system upgrades and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.

Drive innovation and optimization by delivering systems and automation strategies that increase the value to stakeholders and reduce redundant processes.
Oversee Finance and Accounting System upgrades and enhancements to include prioritization, functional design, documentation, testing, training, implementation, and support model design.
Design and build inbound and outbound integrations across the Finance/Accounting systems environment, as well as across domains and business channels, i.e., supply chain, CPG, retail, warehouse, etc.
Oversee system related governance controls and other related compliance processes. Ensure the proper security administration, configuration and system processes are in place and appropriately maintained and compliant internal and external audit standards.
Consult with functional leaders and SMEs in Finance and Accounting to design, develop, and implement technology solutions that increase operational efficiency, maintain compliance, and positively impact customer experience for employees, managers, and business leaders.

Provides technical support for Finance and Accounting systems, e.g., researching and resolving problems or issues with business processes; recommends alternate solutions. Troubleshoots any system issues and ensures appropriate parties are involved to resolve issue.
Manage up to 3 direct reports made up of internal employees and external contract and partner resources.
Lead guide and mentor a team of Finance/Accounting techno-functional systems analysts.

Complete special projects and other duties as assigned independently.
Who You Are:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
5-10 years of experience with Accounting/ERP Technology/FP&A platforms
Experience with Accounting/ERP and FP&A platforms
5-7 years of experience working with technical stack – Objects, Fields, Custom Objects, SQL, APIs, etc.
Experience leading end-to-end Finance and Accounting systems projects including gathering requirements, system configuration, design and development of integrations, running tests, and implementation
Must possess strong technical knowledge (e.g., SQL, integrations) and specialize in Finance and Accounting systems and processes
Strong people-management, budget/financial management, organization and problem-solving skills

Time management skills, strong ability to multi-task, follow up and manage competing priorities independently
Ability to work flexible schedule during weekdays and weekends as dictated by business needs
Demonstrated track record of quality delivery, interpersonal and cross-functional relationship skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Has a deep desire to learn and improve by seeking, accepting and acting on productive feedback
Desire and ability to learn quickly and work in an agile development environment
Demonstrated leadership, mentorship, visionary, clarity of purpose, motivated, relentless execution

Ability to present and communicate with influence and confidence to a technical and non-technical audience
Ability to work independently, but also work as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Possesses business acumen with excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to develop solutions to complex problems using expertise, creativity, and sound judgment

Peet’s Home Office is a Hybrid worksite, which requires any Home Office employees to work onsite 2 days a week with the exception of any fully-remote role.
