Job Description
A Bit About The Role…
The AP Manager is solely responsible for managing the day-to-day accounts payable operation; financial processing of transactions, corporate credit card reconciliation, month-end support, reviewing all NetSuite transactions and managing the AP Assistant.
Essential Duties:
Manages Accounts Payable Process from start to finish
Oversees account coding for accuracy and ensures appropriate documents for 3-Way-Match are obtained
Reviews bills and purchase orders entered into accounting system in a timely fashion
Works with Accounting Team to process weekly payments
Maintenance of vendor records and all related documentation: setup, screening, and upkeep
Ensure all AP SOPs are up to date
Oversees AP Assistant
Monitor and investigate open payables and purchase orders
Manages CO-MAN relationships and audits account statements for accuracy
Manages accounting credit card
Payments, coding, and reconciliation
Manages a portion of month-end procedures
Solely responsible for monthly expense accruals and account reconciliation
Reviews any employee repayments and trues up account
Ensures all AP is in the system or is accrued for
Reviews and approves bi-weekly reimbursables in Abacus platform, ensuring expenses follow company policy
Analyze AP processes and identify areas for improvement and automation
Oversees preparation of 1099 tax forms
Responsible for contract organization; ensuring all executed contracts are saved and meet policy requirements
Works with Accounting Team for any ad-hoc reporting or projects needed
Qualifications
Who We Want…
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from a four-year college or university or 3-4 years relevant experience in accounts payable
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, and willing to take the initiative to get things done
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material
Proficient in Excel and NetSuite a must
Ability to be entrepreneurial and methodical
Results-oriented and process driven, with high expectations of self and team
Collaborative mindset with strength in effectively receiving and communicating feedback

This position can be remote, however you must live in the United STates.
