We love our clients and the work we get to create with them! We are looking for someone that can lead the charge in helping Raindrop do more work with and for our clients.
This role is all about building relationships, helping to lead our clients and generating new business opportunities for Raindrop.
This role will partner closely with Account Management, Strategy, Sales and Creative in order to keep a pulse on where there are opportunities, what insights we can learn from other clients and to help create amazing forward-looking strategies and plans.
This role will be responsible for supporting overall agency growth goals, leading client retention strategies and ensuring that Raindrop’s clients feel led on their marketing journey.
This will be a base + commission role with occasional travel and will likely need to be in San Diego several times a month for client meetings as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development
This person will be responsible for the growth of and continued work with existing clients
Due to the project based nature of many of our services offerings it is vital to the health of the agency that we are actively pursuing additional and future opportunities with existing and recently lapsed clients
This person will be expected to build deep relationships with existing clients and decision makers in order to earn trust, get to know them and to understand their business needs
This person will need to have a strong understanding of all Raindrop Products and Service Offerings
Client Leadership & Strategy
This person will play a huge part in Client Leadership and being the proactive agent that is thinking about, working with and driving where our clients should be heading
This will be in partnership with C-Suite, Strategy, Account and Sales
This role will not be directly responsible for the execution of client work, but will be one of the leading voices in shaping and guiding what future and additional work clients can be doing with Raindrop
This person will thrive on being a strategist, consultant and friend to clients in order to help move their business forward
Operations & Finance
This person will work with Sales, Operations, Account and Finance in order to understand team bandwidth, agency financial goals and to align on upcoming projects
This person will work with Sales and Operations on the development of new Product Offerings as needed

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
15+ years of experience in marketing and/or sales
eCommerce and D2C experience is preferred
Strategic, friendly and driven
