Reasons to Believe (RTB) is an international, outreach-oriented, science apologetics ministry. Our mission is to spread the Christian gospel by demonstrating that sound reason and scientific research—including the very latest discoveries—consistently support, rather than erode, confidence in the truth of the Bible and faith in the personal, transcendent God revealed in both Scripture and nature. We are seeking a full-time events assistant to assist in the coordination of outreach events & programs; event/travel logistics, name acquisition, and promotions. Responsibilities/Duties:
Event Planning

Assist with travel and logistics for outreach events.
Construct itineraries for traveling staff and scholars.
Arrange virtual events/meetings through various platforms (Zoom, Teams, etc.).
Assist in coordination and execution of special outreach programs/events.

Administrative Support

Maintain and update comprehensive database systems with accuracy to track outreach activity, and proactively seek out pertinent information to input into databases.
Create web pages for name acquisition and event promotion.
Reconcile and record event expenses and income.
Collaborate with outreach team on any projects that require additional support.

Qualifications:

Flexible and adaptable
Strong organizational skills: ability to establish priorities and manage multiple event plans simultaneously
Ability to multitask and input data with accuracy and attention to detail
Strong verbal and creative written communication skills; ability to interact comfortably in person, in writing, and via phone with people of all academic backgrounds and levels
High learning agility with information systems, capacity to learn new software and database management and create and refine procedures and processes
Strong computer skills; proficiency in use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Availability to travel for local outreach events
