DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Receives calls and gives information to callers or routes calls to appropriate individuals and places outgoing calls.
May be required to respond to guest complaints and/or inquiries promptly and courteously, referring to the appropriate individual(s) as needed.
Composes and types correspondence, reports and miscellaneous paperwork.
Schedules appointments for the Vice President.
Interfaces with all levels of casino employees.
Supports the department by handling the copying, faxing and filing.
Orders office supplies for the department and handles invoices and purchase requests.
Makes travel and room arrangements.
Routes incoming mail and prepares outgoing mail.
Provides support for setting up meetings, which may include the following: coordinating meetings, scheduling conference rooms, and obtaining audio/visual equipment and refreshments. May be asked to take meeting minutes.
Acts as a liaison with other departments and outside agencies.
May serve as back-up to the Receptionist and Executive Assistant.
Maintains a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive and confidential situations. Executes special projects as requested and generally handles any other administrative-type tasks that may not be listed here.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or GED required.
Some college preferred.
Minimum of three years strong secretarial experience required, with typing speed of at least 50 words per minute required.
Must possess excellent communication skills and be computer-literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

Must be at least 21 years of age.
