What you can expect as a Business Consulting Manager:
In this role, you will be part of the Client Relations team, where you will support (1) research and analysis that improves RPX’s understanding of its clients and the markets they operate in, (2) measurement and articulation of the value that RPX creates for its clients, and (3) RPX’s internal operations.
About the Role:
Work with stakeholders across the organization to design, implement, and optimize internal processes and their supporting systems
Structure and develop client deliverables including “telling the story” with supporting analysis in a clear and effective manner
Design and execute qualitative and/or quantitative analyses to test and support or refine hypotheses
Drive project task execution by ensuring progress, organizing project data, and coordinating team meetings and guiding and teaching more junior team members
Empower, mentor, and serve as a role model for project team members
Provide project management and execution support for various special projects
Provide data-based answers to questions posed by the business and clients
Prepare customized and standardized reports
Prepare PowerPoint decks to facilitate conversations with internal teams and clients
Perform a variety of desk research
Bachelor’s degree required; business, economics, or hard science degree viewed favorably
Graduate degree (e.g., MBA or JD) viewed favorably but not required
4+ years of experience in management consulting
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Meticulous, diligent and detailed
Strong written communication skills
Proven track record of project management (operations management a plus)
Experience in a professional services environment
Proficiency with Python or other programming language preferred
