This posting will be used to fill current vacancies and to establish an eligibility list for 6 months after the interview date. SLCUSD has school sites in San Luis Obispo, Los Osos and Morro Bay. Location of vacancies are subject to in-house transfers or needs of the district. Applicants must pass Fingerprint and TB clearances. TEST INFORMATION: ALL APPLICANTS MUST TEST A written examination covering skills, knowledge, and abilities required of a Custodian I will be given. Applicants who pass application screening will be contacted to take the examination. Minimum passing score of the examination is 70%. Applicants with a passing exam score will proceed to the oral interview. Applicants will be notified, via email or phone, of their eligibility to proceed to an interview. An oral interview covering personal qualifications, experience, and training will be scheduled. Minimum passing score is 70%. SPECIAL NOTES: 1) Correctly filling out forms and following other instructions contained in this notice are part of the testing process. 2) Applicants with disabilities need to notify the Personnel Office of any special needs so that adequate preparation may be made for their testing. 3) Veterans qualifying for the oral board examination may receive 5 additional points added to their final score if proof of discharge is submitted at time of oral board interview. A “veteran” as used here means any person who served in the United States armed forces in time of war, or national emergency. 4) Eligibility lists are established for a period of six months. 5) This is a dual examination in which the resulting eligibility list shall consist of promotional and open competitive candidates.
