The Tennis Attendant will provide a seamless guest experience beyond a traditional tennis resort. This role will ensure guest services such as tennis bag assistance and court services are provided in a personalized manner.
Responsibilities

Ensures that all guests receive courteous, prompt, and professional attention to all their tennis needs.
Attend to guests upon arrival for in assisting with introductions, vouchers, shoes, or rackets.
Prepare all courts for rental or lessons for incoming guests throughout the day.
Refill/replenish oshibori towels, fitness towels, balls, and waters, etc.
Maintain regular cleanliness of courts, benches, tables, and trash bins.
Wash and clean shoes and rackets after each use.
Strings rackets, regrip and perform other light equipment repairs.
Keep rental ball hoppers full and keep balls in good condition.
Recover stray balls from plants and surroundings.
Customer Service – Follow up on complaints, questions, and concerns; respond to internal/external customer needs in a friendly, timely and efficient manner.
Teamwork – Develop and promote teamwork and cooperation among co-workers
Safety – Comply with established safe work practices and attend to all safety-related training provided or made available by the Company.
Due to the intimate nature of the resort with limited number of guests on property, must assist teams laterally across all departments to lead a seamless guest flow throughout the different resort spaces.
Year-round full-time position (Closed one month in the summer)
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

1+ year – Customer service experience.
Tennis interest, a plus.
Preferred – tennis hospitality experience in a luxury setting.
Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions; skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language – additional language skills encouraged.
Valid California driver’s license
