Overview:

Servicing Solutions is looking for dynamic professionals that are self-motivated, trustworthy and can quickly adapt to change in a fast-paced environment. The Payment Processor is responsible for handling all functions related to the posting, reversing, correction, and reporting of payments. Responsibilities also include preparing and recording bank deposits, preparing loan payoff docs, open/sort incoming mail and payments.

Responsibilities:

Process check-requests and customer refunds.
Prepare and/or process documents; review for accuracy and completeness; update information and/or evaluate against policy; compare elements for consistency or logical relationship, etc.
Prepare and verify bank deposits.
Reconciliation of Cashbox.
Receive research and respond to incoming questions; provide information, explain policies and procedures, and/or facilitate a resolution.
Review, process and verify accounts and account balances.
Processor for Automatic Clearing House (ACH) process.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Interact with internal and external customers in a manner which shows sensitivity, tact and professionalism.
Make outbound and receive inbound calls.
Complete and maintain spreadsheets.
Accurately document all information pertaining to accounts.
Use basic business math to solve problems.
Communicate clearly, concisely and effectively both verbally and written.
Listen to and understand information and ideas as presented both verbally and written.
Ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions.
Ability to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 2 years’ experience in Payment Processing.
Must be able to maintain the End of Month Schedule which consists of up to three (3) consecutive days which occur on or around the last business day of the month. Should the last day of the month fall on a weekend, the EOM schedule for the last day of the month falling on a Saturday or Sunday will be: an eight (8) hour shift on the Friday before the last day of the month, this shift will have various start times beginning at 5:00 am Pacific time through 12:00 pm Pacific time, and an eight (8) hour shift on the Saturday on or before the last day of the month. EOM occurring on the last business day of the month that does not fall on a weekend will require, at minimum, one eight (8) hour shift that will vary in start time between 5:00 am to 12:00 pm Pacific Time. There may be other mandatory shifts scheduled as dictated by business need.
