The California Conservatory of Music is the Bay Area’s leading music school. We currently have locations in Sunnyvale and Redwood City and are searching for a part-time office assistant to work with the directors of the school and our other staff.
The ideal candidate is a clear and effective communicator who feels comfortable talking with kids and parents, has good excel skills, and is an independent worker. Daily tasks include talking to prospective students about our program, helping our teachers with scheduling, and our current customers with any issues they might have.
Qualifications:
Must live in the Bay Area and be able to work in Sunnyvale
(owning a car is a plus).
Excellent verbal and written skills (in English)
A strong work ethic
Customer service experience
Experience with MailChimp, Google Drive or Excel, and Google Calendar.
Job Duties:
Answering Phones
Registering Clients
Scheduling Clients
Selling a small amount of retail
Minimal office cleaning (taking out trash, vacuuming)
Distributing memos
