Position SummaryThe Product Analyst is responsible for handling regular and ad-hoc client needs as well as providing support for Product Specialist Account Managers. This role offers a great opportunity to gain exposure to the entirety of fixed income product areas and collaborate across a variety of departments. An ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of the asset management business, a high-level understanding of fixed income markets, and excellent client service and analytical skills. CFA Charterholder or candidate preferred.
Essential Duties
Read and internalize global market research and internal research as a foundation for crafting unique product and portfolio specific performance commentary
Analyze portfolio attribution and effectively communicate drivers of performance in written commentary form
Assist in creating product specific materials
Collaborate with senior level account managers to support client relationships
Coordinate with account associates on client inquiries or other requests for information
Communicate directly with clients and consultants, as needed
Prepare and deliver ad-hoc reporting
Liaise with other departments (Sales/Marketing, Operations, Compliance, Legal, Accounting) to provide information in response to client needs/requests
Identify ways of creating efficiencies/improving processes
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience
Solid working knowledge and understanding of capital markets
Prior experience working in the fixed income market
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel

Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Well organized and able to prioritize multiple requests from a variety of sources
