DESCRIPTION
Under direction, responsible for the coordination of day-to-day operations of the Bannister Family House, with overseeing the front desk, guest registrations and guest relations for any special needs. Provides computer data management and financial oversight regarding registration, donations, mailing lists and updates. Conducts informative tours of the Bannister Family House as required for prospective guests, donors, and community partners. Performs other related administrative support functions as required. This is a multi-tasking position and can be at a fast pace. It is very rewarding to help the families who have a loved one in the hospital in critical or long-term care.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Two (2) years of experience performing administrative duties in a professional environment and High School Diploma/GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient in the following: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Superb customer service presence.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, skilled on the phone, problem-solving, conflict resolution.
Skilled with cash handling.
Strong written and communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bilingual in Spanish.
Healthcare experience.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
Must be able to work various hours including holidays and weekends; and, locations based on business needs. Seven days a week with variable hours.
Working primarily three to four days a week, including Holidays.
Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
Job offer is contingent on successful engagement in the UC COVID-19 Vaccination program (fully vaccinated with documented proof or approved exception/deferral). If applicable, life-support certifications (BLS, NRP, ACLS, etc.) must include hands-on practice and in-person skills assessment; online-only certification is not acceptable.
