SUMMARY
The Representative Associate-Customer Service partners up with the salesperson to ensure the long-term success of the customers, provide product service information, and resolve any emerging problems that the clients might face with accuracy and efficiency. The target is to ensure excellent service, standards, and maintain high customer satisfaction. This position receives and processes customer inquiries for purchase orders, order status, and related information collected via phone, or email and responds to all customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Comply with Company Safety Policies
Regular attendance, timeliness and scheduling flexibility
Work hand in hand with local salespeople
Working effectively with customers schedules
Assist the builder on the phone
Schedule and coordinate deliveries
Submit order entries
Handle delivery issues and backorders
Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally
Work closely with the sales associate and communicate the tasks required for them to complete on your days off
Daily interaction with the public via email or phone call
Contact customer in a timely manner if additional information or correction is required to process request
Monitor Sales Order status to ensure customer required delivery date will be met
Enter customer purchase orders and quotations into the system. Make notes as appropriate to communicate circumstances affecting order ship date or status.

Ability to think quickly, make decisions, and direct on-site personnel if needed
High quality standards and confidence
Good typing, Word and Outlook skills required. Excellent Excel skills required
Strong communication skills and willingness to call builders and homeowners to discuss concerns
Ability to learn the company’s scheduling/accounting/work order software
Create a sense of trust and reliability with customers
Must have great organization, communications and time management skills
Computer and software experience
