WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will serve as a vital support mechanism to the entire talent acquisition team and will routinely interface with customers and senior team members.
Process and Administration of employee background checks in compliance with company policy
Leading day to day administration of human resource and talent acquisition tasks with direction from the director of human resources
Facilitates the accurate completion of required pre-employment documentation, communicates any changes to hiring department and ensures the required documentation is submitted in a timely manner
Serves as a resource to Recruiters in preparing and presenting process training to hiring manager and administrative support staff
Schedules and coordinates interviews
Assist with quality check of employee new hire paperwork
Establishing and organizing the maintenance of human resource related reports such as Affirmative Action Program and Equal Employment Opportunity
Coordinating the job requisitions as related to recruiting process and administration of the job requisition report for senior management
Support in assisting customers and employees with questions or issues
Perform other special projects as assigned
Valid CA Driver License and clean driving record
Other duties as assigned
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma
3-5 years of recruiting or human resource experience
Proven candidate sourcing and relationship building skills
Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment
Adhoc report creation
Effective oral and written communication skills
General knowledge of various employment laws and practices
Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills
Ability to work with various departments and foster teamwork
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Skills in database management and record keeping
Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work
Take on ad-hoc projects as requested
Additional Required Qualifications:
Fluent navigating applicant tracking systems (ATS)
Familiar with campus recruiting
Proficiency in or knowledge of using a variety of computer software applications Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential documentation
Effective oral and written communication skills
General knowledge of various employment laws and practices
Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills
Ability to work with various departments and foster teamwork
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Skills in database management and record keeping
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
5 + years of related experience
Background in Food and Distribution Industries
Bilingual Spanish
