Private HR Consulting company is seeking an HR Assistant for various projects. MUST HAVE SOME HR EXPERIENCE. This does start off part time but can grow into full time quickly.Looking for an individual who shares core values with a passion for Human Resources and enjoys the fast pace, growing work environment! This self- motivated individual will make the team excel and will have a strong desire to learn.
Responsibilities:
Assist with overseeing the implementation and integration of new policies, procedures, tools, and strategies.
Assist with ensuring that the operations and activities of the workforce are efficient and in the best interest of the company goals.
Assisting with the recruitment and training of new employees.
Assist with providing advice and recommendations to HR personnel for resolution of daily issues
Assist with formulating strategic and practical plans to address human resource matters
Assist with processing payroll and keep track of time cards
Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Quick learner and ability to work with minimal supervision
Required Experience:
Excellent communication and people skills
Flexible Schedule
Aptitude in problem-solving
Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
HR experience required
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Commuting to different locations
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
