The “Program Director of Beverages” will daily collaborate with executives and oversee deliverables for sales team. This leadership role also requires creating go to market sales strategies. For the companies beverage program. This includes sales processes of “all non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages”, presentation to clients, coaching sales teams on investment alliances, company goals and deadlines.
The focus of the role will be to strategically manage the daily operations of the sales department with a pro-active approach and gracious attitude. This is an exciting role, that eventually moves the program manager contributions to the organization, to more of a future active business partner.
We are seeking a program manger that can support the company’s goals, objectives, vision, mission, and values.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for region sales, execution, and employee development
Analyze Market trends and forecast revenue for business
Manage regional P&L to ensure targets are achieved
Responsible for strategic priorities to drive regional KPI initiatives
Ability to work cross-functionally and with a wide range of employees with different skill sets.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal).
Proven Experience in the Food & Beverages Industry
Responsibilities:
Act as a trusted strategic team member, serving as the point of contact for project management for our team.
Create strategies for risk mitigation and project contingency planning. Interview, select, train, supervise, schedule, mentor and counsel associates accordingly
Develop go to market materials and strategies for sales team
Steer head sales team and company meeting to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals
Prepare and conduct pre-shift meetings communicating pertinent information to the associates, before each shift and event to educate about all beverage offerings
Maximize profits by overseeing multi business development sales team ; retaining existing clients
Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
Lead, plan, schedule, track, and manage project deliverables, goals, and milestones; adjust project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of stakeholders.
Influence, create and manage schedules and milestones, including setting up key meetings, managing action items, ensuring deliverables are created, managed, and stored.
Lead company and client investment presentation 4-5 calendar days out of the month
Analyze variances in achieving milestones and offer viable solutions as needed.
Manage multiple projects concurrently, in the most effective and efficient manner possible, ensuring adequate resources are available.
Respond timely and accurately to questions and requests about scheduling.
Identify and resolve project issues, ensuring appropriate and timely communication to project stakeholders.
Partner closely with manager to monitor project data, identify trends, and make key decisions.
Provide a point of view when you have one. Very important to have all ideas be heard.
Maintain a harmonious and efficient balance between sale team and other key stakeholders to meet expectations and demands.
Maintain a firm understanding of all deliverable types and the nuances of each.
Design and maintain project documentation with a preference to lighter weight processes than heavier.
Coordinate monthly departmental meetings associates, as well as department heads responsible for areas that will provide beverages
Collaborate with the General Manager to design appropriate pricing strategies
Establish and oversee alcoholic beverage training for in-house Beverage distribution staff, including general knowledge, list-specific knowledge and responsible Beverage Service techniques in accordance with local regulations
Establish and maintain relationships with key vendors to ensure access to premier products and exclusive opportunities
Partner with GM’s and Department heads to create sales programs for each new production
Create and maintain a full beverage list for the property that fits with the concept and financial goals.
Qualifications:
Key account management experience at a district, regional, or national level
Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 8 years industry related experience
Excellent leadership skills to provide mentoring, training, and corrective feedback
Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel
Adaptable and quick to learn new processes and tools.
Has a “whatever it takes” attitude.
A track record of performance meeting targets and objectives.
Self-directed, goal-oriented and flexible, enjoying working in a fast-paced and at times challenging environment

Program Manager is compensated 20% of project sales
